Would you like to make your local community more dementia-friendly? On March 26 It starts with you!
Come along to a free community workshop organized by Dementia Australia and supported by Orwil Street Community House Inc. The workshop is designed for individuals passionate about making their local community more dementia-friendly. It aims to dispel myths and stereotypes about dementia, discuss ways people can live well with dementia, and explore practical steps to create a dementia-friendly community. Event Details: Date: Thursday, 26th March 2026 Time: 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM Location: Orwil Street Community House, 16 Orwil St, Frankston (Street parking available) Cost: Free (Bookings essential) Program Highlights: Begins with a "Dementia Friends" session. Attendees will receive an "I am a Dementia Friend" badge. Light refreshments will be provided after the workshop.
